Hilde Berner Hammer

Professor at the University of Oslo and senior consultant (PhD) at the Department of Rheumatology, Diakonhjemmet Hospital, Oslo, Norway. Her main ultrasound interest is in musculoskeletal diseases. Her scientific work includes ultrasound scoring of synovitis in RA patients, as well as general ultrasound studies in RA, SpA, and gout patients. She is in charge of ultrasound education for rheumatologists in Norway, a member of the EULAR faculty of ultrasound courses, the EULAR imaging group, and several OMERACT ultrasound groups. She has participated as faculty of a high number of ultrasound courses around the world over the past eighteen years.
