Clinical Pharmacy Specialist
Dr. Hebatullah Abdelgawad (Heba Khairy) is a clinical pharmacist at Rumailah Hospital, Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC), Qatar, providing comprehensive clinical pharmacy services in the High-Dependency and Geriatric Care units.
She received her Bachelor of Pharmaceutical Sciences degree from Egypt and later earned her Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from the University of Colorado, USA, where she also completed advanced clinical training.
Dr. Hebatullah obtained her Board Certification in Pharmacotherapy (BCPS) in 2012 and holds additional professional certifications, including the Indiana Pharmacy Teaching Certificate (IPTeC) from Purdue University and Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (LSSGB) training.
At Rumailah Hospital, she serves as the co-lead of the Antimicrobial Stewardship Committee and the focal point for clinical pharmacists in the Rumailah Acute Unit, contributing to antimicrobial optimization, medication safety, and quality improvement initiatives. She is also a committed PharmD preceptor, actively involved in the clinical training and professional development of pharmacy students and interns.
Dr. Hebatullah remains dedicated to evidence-based practice, patient safety, and the advancement of clinical pharmacy services.
