Dr. Sarah Elkourashy, ABHS, MRCP-UK, serves as a Consultant in Clinical Hematology and Bone Marrow Transplantation department at NCCCR, HMC.

Dr. Elkourashy earned her Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBBCh) from the Faculty of Medicine at Mansoura University, Egypt, followed by an internship at Mansoura University Hospitals. She pursued her residency in Internal Medicine at Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC), where she also obtained the Arab Board certification in Internal Medicine. Dr. Elkourashy further advanced her expertise by completing a Hematology Fellowship at the National Center for Cancer Care and Research (NCCCR). She is a member of the Royal College of Physicians (MRCP-UK).

In addition to her clinical role, she is passionate about education and clinical teaching and holds the position of Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine at Weill Cornell Medical College in Qatar.

Her primary clinical and research interests focus on lymphoid malignancies, benign hematology, hemostasis, and obstetric hematology. Dr. Elkourashy is an integral core member of Lymphoma multidisciplinary meetings and is the Clinical Lead of Obstetric Hematology. She has contributed extensively to the field through many abstracts and articles published in peer-reviewed journals and has been an invited speaker at various regional and international conferences.
