Josh Hyatt is currently a Masters of Bioethics candidate at Harvard Medical School. He received a Doctor of Health Science and Master of Health Law degrees at Nova Southeastern University. Dr. Hyatt has worked in healthcare as a risk manager, medical ethicist, and professor for 28+ years. His academic interests in relationships between health law/medical ethics, moral distress, and LGBT healthcare. He achieved the designation of Certified Professional in Healthcare Risk Management, appointed a Distinguished Fellow at the American Society of Healthcare Risk Management, and an inaugural Healthcare Ethics Consultant- Certification recipient from the American Society for Bioethics and Humanities. He was identified as one of five health care risk managers nationwide to be honored as a "Leading Risk Manager for 2017" by Insurance Business America magazine and has written and spoken internationally on topics of healthcare disparities, social media in healthcare, and medical ethics.
