Prof Adil has over 25 years of medical, public health, academic & executive management experience and delivered on key leadership positions in the UK, USA & Middle East including;  Healthcare Advisor to H E Minister of Public Health (Qatar), Medical Director (Public Health Scotland), National Executive for Quality & Innovation (Department of Health, England) and Medical Director to establish Care Quality Commission (England’s national health care regulator for quality & safety).

He has vast expertise of developing AI & digital skills among physicians and utilising data & clinical analytics to innovative healthcare services for improving patients’ outcomes. He is a well-respected expert and been consulted by several organisations & governments globally. He is an alumnus of the Harvard Kennedy School, Yale School of Public Health, Institute of Healthcare Improvement (USA) & & Judge Institute of Management (Cambridge University).  Appointed Honorary Professor, College of Medical & Life Sciences (Glasgow University, UK), Clinical Professor (Qatar University), Visiting Professor of Value-based Healthcare (Manchester Business School), Senior Fellow, NHS Institute for Innovation (UK) and HIMSS Board of Advisors (EMEA region), USA. He has postgraduate qualifications in medicine, public health, paediatrics, economics, corporate governance, management and health informatics.
