Dr. Adila Shaukat
Dr. Shaukat is a Senior Consultant of Infectious Diseases at Al Wakra Hospital (AWH), Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC). She is a faculty member of infectious disease fellowship program in HMC and leads the antimicrobial stewardship program in AWH. She is also an associate professor of Clinical Medicine in Qatar University and an assistant professor in Weil Cornell Medical College, Qatar.
Dr. Shaukat was appointed as Country Ambassador to Qatar by the American Society of Microbiology for 2022-2024. She is a member of the Arab Board certified in Internal Medicine and completed her fellowship in Infectious Diseases at HMC. She has several publications in international peer reviewed journals. And she graduated from the University of Health Sciences in Lahore, Pakistan.
