Dr. Khawla Ahmed Athamneh
Dr. Khawla is the Acting Assistant Executive Director at Hamad Healthcare Quality Institute (HHQI), Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC). She is a Health Systems Improvement expert who initiated different systems improvement and patient safety programs. She has led in designing quality structure and supported the readiness of healthcare organizations for accreditation. She has developed several academic programs in various academic institutions.
Currently, Khawla leads the improvement capacity and capability building agenda, where she supports several improvement collaboratives and programs to design/redesign and develop effective, efficient and safe solutions to support the improvement initiatives at HMC and across Qatar.
