Bruno Mafrici is a clinical Specialist renal dietitian, non-medical prescriber working at the Renal and Transplant unit at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust, UK with a strong interest in patients with both Chronic Kidney Disease and Acute Kidney Injury. He has a master's in advanced practice and he was the chair of the UK Renal Nutrition Group UK from 2018 to 2022. He is involved with the UK Kidney Association and contributes to national guidelines in nutrition for patients with kidney disease. Bruno has also been working closing with UK charities supporting kidney patients. He is a clinical dietetic lecturer, delivering workshop and lectured to over 8 UK universities. He is a non-medical prescriber, author and a co-editor of the 2018 Pocket Guide to Clinical Nutrition and contributed to several text books.
