Dr. Saffa is a Senior Consultant Nephrologist in Hamad Medical Hospital, HMC.
She studies University in Sudan, then complete postgraduates training in London, UK. Obtained MRCP then FRCP from London UK. Received Speciality Certificate Nephrology (SCN) in 2013 and obtained Certificate of Completion of Training – CTT– in Internal Medicine and Nephrology from London Denary, London UK in 2014.
Has special interest in Kidney transplantation, obtained master’s degree (MSC), in Clinical Transplantation Science from University of Liverpool, UK
Upon completion of CTT worked as a nephrology consultant in the UK for one year before joining HMC in October 2015.
Dr. Saffa has a fellow of the American Society of Nephrology, FASN – USA and a fellow of American College of Physicians, FACP - USA
In HMC was a member of CPG, helped with CPG guidelines revision and a member of nephrology committees.
