​​Mostafa Elbaba is graduated and got his master’s degree from Ain Shams University in Cairo, Egypt. After his initial training in the same university, he practiced in some countries before he moved and settled in Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) in Qatar since 2011. Currently in HMC, Elbaba is the head section of pediatric nephrology specialty, head of pediatric medical education (CPD), chairman of pediatric simulation, member of pediatric research committee and core faculty in the Qatar pediatric residency program. Moreover, Elbaba is an Assistant Professor in clinical Pediatrics in Weill Cornell Medical College (WCMC)-Qatar campus, and he is the pediatric simulation lead of Qatar university medical student educational program in Qatar. Elbaba is a Fellow in the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (FRCPCH)-UK. Internationally, he is an advanced medical educator, certified master’s degree in medical education from university of Cincinnati in USA. He is also a certified advanced simulation educator (CHSE-A) from the Society for Simulation in Healthcare (SSH). He was also the a past chair of the pediatric section in SSH for three years. Elbaba M. is currently a member of Advanced Certification in the SSH certification Council since January 2019. Furthermore, he is the owner, designer & instructor of 7 active online courses in different pediatric educational disciplines. He designed and conducted dozens of face-to-face courses and workshops in pediatric postgraduate exams and simulation. He has significant contributions in the international conferences through his research works, talks and posters. Eventually and apart from medicine, Elbaba is certified in many other disciplines like sciences, arts, history, and religions. Elbaba is interested and certified in the history of medicine and has some articles and talks in this field. Finally, Elbaba is a public writer and author, he published several books in Arabic language up to date.
