Dr. Alyaa Ali is a bariatric and obesity medicine Associate Consultant with over seven years of experience in the field of bariatric/metabolic and obesity medicine, with a commitment to advancing patient care through evidence-based practices.
Dr. Alyaa earned her medical degree from the University of Medical Sciences and Technology- School of Medicine in Khartoum-Sudan, followed by Internal Medicine residency. Driven by a passion for tackling the multifaceted challenges of obesity, she has completed a bariatric and metabolic medicine fellowship at Hamad Medical Corporation.
In addition to clinical practice, Dr. Alyaa has an interest in clinical research and medical education. She completed the principles and practice of the clinical research program from Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health then joined the program afterward as a teaching assistant and was awarded as an outstanding teaching assistant. She has published articles in peer reviewed journals and presented multiple abstracts at international conferences
