Dr. Yasmin Tolaymat is an efficient endocrinologist with more than 14 years’ experience, who has good skills in treating patients in general endocrinology, with special interesting in diabetes and obesity fields.
Dr. Tolaymat obtained her diplomas in General Medicine practice, Arab board in internal medicine, and Diploma in Endocrinology from the well-known and esteemed Damascus University Faculty of Medicine in Damascus.
Since 2019, she has joined Hamad Medical Corporation in Qatar as general endocrinologist in National Diabetes Center in Hamad General Hospital, where she shows high level of professionality and expertly treated patients with diabetes and other general endocrine disorders.
Since November 2021, she joined National Obesity Treatment Center in Qatar Metabolic Institute, where she handled hundreds of cases of obesity with good experience in medical weight management and also following patients with weight regain after bariatric surgery.
In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Tolaymat has joined number of researchers in Hamad Medical Corporation as sub-investigator and clinician in the field of diabetes and obesity.
Dr. Tolaymat is also an active contributor in the educational field in Hamad Medical Corporation, presenting a number of lectures and reviewing some papers.
She had also previously been affiliated from Faculty of Medicine in Al Baath University in Homs/Syria for medical students and fellows training.
Dr. Tolaymat is a member of Syrian Society of Diabetes and Endocrinology, a member of Endocrine Society, as well as very recently a member of The Obesity Society.
She engages with worldwide endocrinologists and professionals in the field of diabetes and obesity and shares knowledge and recent research efforts.
