Dr. Yassmin Ibrahim is a Bariatric and Obesity Medicine specialist working under the umbrella of the National Bariatric Center at Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC). She received her Medical Degree (MD) from Weill Cornell Medical College in Qatar (WCMC-Q) and completed her Internal Medicine Residency at HMC and is Arab Board Certified in Internal Medicine. 

She then completed her fellowship in Obesity and Bariatric Medicine. Dr. Ibrahim is particularly interested in the field of Medical Education and is keen on incorporating modern learning methods in daily teaching. She graduated from the Train to Teach in Medicine training program by Harvard Medical School. 

Currently, Dr. Ibrahim practices obesity and bariatric medicine at the Surgical Specialty Center (SSC) of HMC, where she manages the treatment of medical and surgical outpatients in her own clinics, as well as performing rounds as part of the Bariatric Medicine Team.

She is committed to providing compassionate, patient-centered care and staying at the forefront of the latest medical advancements.In addition to clinical practice, Dr. Ibrahim oversees departmental teaching activities, where coverage of the Obesity and Bariatric Medicine Curriculum is provided to clinical fellows. She is also involved in clinical research and has multiple publications.
