Professor Radwan Kassir is a distinguished medical professional specializing in digestive and bariatric surgery, currently serving as a Consultant General and bariatric surgeon at The View Hospital.
With over a decade of experience, Prof. Kassir is a full western-trained surgeon who completed his medical studies in France. His journey includes obtaining the title of Professor of digestive Surgery, one of the most challenging titles to achieve in France, requiring a high level of competence and recognition. He is a member of the prestigious National Academy of Surgery.
Before joining The View Hospital, he served as the president of the Federation of Digestive Surgery of the Territorial Hospital Group in Reunion. His leadership extended to chairing several scientific commissions. As an elected member of the Order of Physicians, Professor Kassir played a vital role in medical governance.
His expertise was further recognized as he served as an expert physician for the French health insurance system. As a doctor accredited by France's High Health Authority (HAS), he played a pivotal role in upholding medical standards.
