Dr. Dan Riew is Professor of Orthopedic Surgery in the Neurosurgery Department of Cornell University as well as the Orthopedic Department of Columbia University. His practice is exclusively limited to the operative treatment of cervical spine disorders. He has published over 350 peer-reviewed papers. He has received multiple outstanding research paper awards from the Cervical Spine Research Society, the North American Spine Society, as well as the Scoliosis Research Society. He has served as a visiting professor, grand rounds speaker, key or named lecturer over 100 times in over 20 countries. He has served as President of the Cervical Spine Research Society and AOSpine. He is a Deputy or Associate Editor of the Global Spine Journal, Clinics in Orthopedic Surgery, Spine, European Spine Journal, Asian Spine Journal, Neurospine and Neurosurgery journals.
