Dr. Edgar A Samaniego is a Neurointerventional Surgeon with expertise in stroke and neurocritical care. He is the director of the Stroke Fellowship at the University of Iowa. Dr. Samaniego has published more than 120 manuscripts and authored the book entitled: “Acute Stroke Management in the Era of Thrombectomy”. His research is focused in the treatment of brain aneurysms, intracranial atherosclerosis and dural arteriovenous fistulas.
