Dr. Ahmed Khalil is a Pediatrics Clinical Pharmacist at Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC), Qatar. He completed his Bachelor of Pharmaceutical Sciences from Cairo University in 2009, a Diploma in Clinical Pharmacy from Ain Shams University, Egypt in 2011, and a master's in clinical pharmacy from Queen's University Belfast, UK in 2016.
He began his career at the Children Cancer Hospital Egypt (CCHE) 57357 in 2009, later joining HMC-Qatar in 2012. His research contributions in Infectious Diseases, Endocrinology, Anticoagulants, and Pharmacogenetics have earned him first-author and co-authorship in publications presented at prestigious international conferences, such as AAP, ESPE, and EAP Congress. As an adjunct clinical instructor and preceptor for Qatar University's PharmD program, accredited by the Canadian Council for Accreditation of Pharmacy Programs (CCAPP), Ahmed's outstanding performance led to his appointment as the pediatric preceptor for the HMC Postgraduate Year One (PGY1) Pharmacy Residency Program, accredited by the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP).
He also contributes as a member of the Simulation Committee in the Pediatric Department, showcasing his expertise in Clinical and Evidence-Based Medicine.
