Dr. Dania Alkhiyami is a clinical pharmacist in the internal medicine department at Hamad Medical corporation (HMC). Dr. Dania received her Bachelor of Science (BSc Pharm) degree and Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from College of Pharmacy at Qatar University. Dr. Dania completed an American Society of Hospital Pharmacist (ASHP) accredited Post Graduate Year One (PGY1) residency from HMC Pharmacy Residency Program. She is currently board-certified Pharmacotherapy specialist (BCPS).
She is currently doing her master’s in health professional education at Qatar University. She is a coordinator for the medication therapy management (MTM) clinic at Al Wakra Hospital. And she is a coordinator for HMC pharmacy continuing professional development (CPD) program. Also, she is a PharmD preceptor at Qatar University and Longitudinal Teaching/ Learning Experience preceptor for ASHP PGY1 residents at HMC. Her area of interests includes education, pediatric and ambulatory care.
