Ms. Mincy Shaji, BSN, is working as a Head Nurse in Coronary Intensive Care Unit (CICU) Heart hospital, Hamad Medical Corporation.
Mincy joined HMC in 2000 and has progressed in her career path from a staff nurse, charge nurse and to head nurse of the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (CICU) unit in 2007 based on her performance in management/leadership.
She is an outstanding nurse manager who always shows willingness to perform and improve. She is leading several quality projects in CICU.
She is also the lead member of the Value Improvement Project in CICU. She is an Improvement Coach trained by Institute for Healthcare Improvement(IHI).
She is the nursing lead member of Medication Management and Use (MMU) chapter of Heart Hospital, HMC. She is a co-author for several articles in BMJ.
In addition to her Nursing Degree, she had completed her Cardiology and Cardiothoracic training as well as completed the Post Diploma course in Hospital Administration. She completed the Improvement Coach Program by IHI.
