Oncology Clinical Pharmacist 

I’m Nabil El-Hadi El-Sayed Ali Omar, currently working as clinical pharmacist specialized in oncology and palliative care at the National Center for Cancer Care and Research, Hamad Medical Corporation, Qatar. I graduated from College of pharmacy; Mansoura University, Egypt 2008. I’m American Board-Certified Oncology/Hematology Pharmacist (BCOP) from the American College of Clinical Pharmacy (ACCP), 2013. I also hold a Doctor of Pharmacy degree (PharmD) from College of pharmacy; Qatar University, 2016. In the duration between May 2016 to May 2017, I earned a one year Post graduate diploma in cancer biology and therapeutics from Harvard Medical School. I also accomplished the Indiana Pharmacy Teaching Certificate post-graduate program, Post graduate program from Indiana college of Pharmacy, July 2020. In December 2021 , I finished the Precision Medicine: Applied Pharmacogenomics Program " from the American College of Clinical Pharmacy (ACCP). I serve as a core team member in the HMC Pharmacy Pharmacogenomics Corporate Working Group, the goal of this committee is to implement and enhance the pharmacogenomics and precision medicine practice across HMC. I’m currently a PhD candidate in Pharmacogenomics and precision medicine form Qatar university. Up to September 2023, I hold a h-index of 9 and i10-index of 6. So far, I have published 45 articles in different peer reviewed and high impact factors journals. I also presented more than 60 poster abstracts in national and international conferences. I’m also an academic editor in PLOS ONE Journal (PLOS). My research interest includes cancer immunotherapy, clinical pharmacy practice, pharmacogenomics, and medication safety.
