Mohamed Omar Saad, Pharm.D., BCPS, BCCCP
Clinical Pharmacy Specialist
Dr. Mohamed Omar Saad is a board-certified clinical pharmacy specialist at Al-Wakra Hospital with over a decade of experience in critical care. He holds a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Qatar University and is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy degree. Dr. Saad's research interests include critical care, infectious diseases and pharmacokinetics.
He has authored numerous publications in international journals in addition to a recently published book chapter. He was a coinvestigator in the Best Poster Award-winning researches in the American College of Clinical Pharmacy (ACCP) virtual poster symposium in 2018 and the ACCP annual meeting in 2021.
Dr. Saad has also peer-reviewed many manuscripts for international journals and three chapters for the ACCP self-assessment programs. He currently acts as an academic editor for PLOS ONE Journal. Dr. Saad also serves as a preceptor for Qatar University PharmD students and for PGY1 residents at Hamad Medical Corporation
