Dr. Ameena received her Bachelor's in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Cairo University in 1999. she joined Hamad Medical Corporation and led the pharmacy in many managerial assignments and positions for over 24 years.
Dr Ameena was the lead of three Hospital pharmacy departments among three different specialised and long-term HMC hospitals(RH, MH, CDC)
She received her Postgraduate Certificate in Clinical Pharmacy from Queen’s University, Belfast, UK (2014). She got a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Manchester Business School, Manchester University. Her thesis focused on pharmacists’ performance Evaluation and how to improve the Quality of pharmacy practice.
She is also a Certified professional in health care quality, CPHQ from the Health Care Commission.USA. also got Geriatric board certification from the Commission of Certification in Geriatric Pharmacy
Dr. Ameena has sponsored and led many quality projects and participated in National and regional conferences, presenting posters and as a speaker. Besides, she is a core executive hospital and corporate committee member.
