

Abdul Moqeeth Mohammed
Dr. Abdul Moqeeth is currently working as Senior Consultant in Ambulatory Care in Doha, Qatar from December 2015. He is vice chair for VTE Sub-Committee at HGH. He is the lead for Anticoagulation clinic at Hamad General Hospital and Co- Lead for resident medical outpatients. He is also appointed as Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine from Weill Cornell Medical College. He is also appointed as clinical lecturer for Qatar University. He has completed certificate course in Healthcare Management form Yale University.
He graduated from India, moved to UK in 2001 and worked in National Health Service since then. During his time in the UK, he achieved his certificate of completion of training (CCT), membership exams from Royal College of general practitioner, and further in view of his passion for education completed Post- Graduate Medical Education from De- Montfort University, UK. He has worked as approved educator for east midlands deanery and Leicester University for six years.
His research in anticoagulation has culminated in several publications. He continues to be principal investigator in several research projects.
