Ashraf Tahseen Hantouly

Dr. Hantouly holds the position of senior resident within the Department of Orthopedic Surgery at Hamad General Hospital. He has special interest in orthopedic sports medicine, arthroscopic surgery, trauma, joint preservation and reconstruction. His proficiency extends into the realm of clinical research, particularly in the domains of knee and shoulder sports injuries, musculoskeletal trauma, and arthroplasty.

Dr. Hantouly earned his Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from the esteemed University of Jordan School of Medicine, where he laid the foundation for his medical career. His pursuit of excellence continued as he pursued a Master of Science in Global Public Health and Policy at Queen Mary University of London, deepening his understanding of the intersection between healthcare and policy.

Notably, Dr. Hantouly serves as the distinguished chair of the Trainees' Council at Hamad Medical Corporation.
