Dr. Rehan Ahmed Siddiquee 

Dr. Rehan Ahmed Siddiquee is the Acting Chief Medical Officer and Director of Psychiatry at Naufar. He specialises in and has a Certificate of Completion of Training in General of Psychiatry and Substance Misuse Psychiatry. 

He is on the specialist register of the General Medical Council (GMC) and holds a specialist license in Psychiatry from the Qatar Council for Healthcare Practitioners (QCHP). His academic background includes an MBBS degree from India and further specialist qualifications such as MSc in Psychiatry from Cardiff University, and MRCPsych. 

Throughout his career, Dr. Siddiquee has earned numerous awards and prizes, including the Research Prize in 2011 from the RCPsych West Midlands Division. He has been actively involved in teaching and academic roles, serving as a Site Director for Substance Misuse Psychiatry Training in Qatar and a Royal College Tutor in the UK. Dr. Siddiquee has contributed to various publications, papers and seminars addressing important topics such as substance use disorder, military psychiatry, dementia care, and the pharmaceutical industry’s involvement in psychiatric training.

With fluency in multiple languages, including English, Urdu, Hindi, Kannada, Farsi, and Arabic, Dr. Siddiquee demonstrates a commitment to providing comprehensive and inclusive care to his patients.
