Salwa Mohammed Ali

Salwa Mohammed Ali is currently affiliated with Hamad General Hospital as a Respiratory Therapy Specialist and is the corporate lead educator for the Department of Respiratory Therapy. She is a graduate of the University of Doha for Science and Technology (formerly known as the College of North Atlantic in Qatar) and a Registered Respiratory Therapist certified by the Canadian Board of Respiratory Care. Furthermore, she is the Chair of the program advisory committee at the University of Doha for Science and Technology. Currently, she is pursuing a master's in health professional education from Qatar University. Before her position at HMC, she was a faculty at the University of Doha for Science and Technology and was involved in the coordination of laboratory and simulation-based activities for undergraduate respiratory care students. She is a passionate educator, and her interests are integrating evidence-based tools to enhance the adult learning experience, and integrating new technologies to deliver respiratory care in a wide range of clinical settings. Her mission is to develop the Department of Respiratory Care into a Center of Excellence in the Middle East.
