Dr Ahmed Hussein graduated from Al-Azhar University in Egypt where he got his residency training program in general surgery and was given master’s degree in general surgery in 2002.
He joined Hamad general hospital in 2003 as a resident in the vascular surgery unit. He got his MRCS from the Royal College of Surgeon of Edinburgh in 2007 and continued to work in Hamad General Hospital as a specialist then associate consultant in vascular surgery.
He is partaking in the educational and scientific activities of the vascular surgery unit in Hamad Medical Corporation and training of the rotating residents from other specialties.
He shared in many international conferences and symposia in vascular surgery and presented some topics.
He is interested in research and published some papers in the international journals.
