Hamda Abdulla Ali

Dr. Hamda Abdulla Ali is currently senior consultant at the Endocrine and Diabetes department at Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC). Dr Hamda obtained her Basic Medical Sciences and Medical Degree (MD) from Arabian Gulf University in Bahrain, after which she joined the internal medicine residency program and granted the Certified of completion of internal medicine by the Arab Board of Medical Specializations in 2007. She worked as specialist in general medicine before she moved to Sweden. In 2014, she completed the specialist training in endocrinology and diabetes in Skane University Hospital, Lund/Malmo.

Dr. Hamda Ali is an active member in the department of endocrine with special interest in diabetes technology and diabetic in pregnancy. She has previous experience as the associate director for the Endocrine fellowship program and is currently a faculty member at the ACGME-I. She has also participated as a speaker or moderator in national events and workshops. She has been awarded with the Stars of Excellence and Raising of Star Awards for contributions to the Technology and Diabetes Unit (TADU) and the National Diabetes Center's Multidisciplinary Diabetes Service.
