
Ms. Ghadeer Mustafa
Ms. Ghadeer Mustafa is the Director of Nursing of Pediatric Division in Al Wakra Hospital and in Al Maha Pediatric Specialized Care Centre.
She is a proactive leader with over 16 years of experience in leadership in healthcare and over 7 years of experience in health system improvement and is an expert in managing divisional operation, quality improvements and staff.
Ms. Ghadeer earned a degree in Master of Public Health Program- Health System Improvement from Qatar University in 2018 and has a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Jordan University of Science and Technology.
Ms. Ghadeer has acquired many certifications over the past years which include Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Project-based, Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative Program, Clinical Care Improvement Training Program and many more. She also has been an instructor for Advanced Trauma Care for Nurses and Pediatric Life Support courses under Hamad Medical Training Centre.
She had led many projects in a facility and corporate level and most of them had been recognized and garnered several awards from Middle East Forum, Patient Experience Forum, Person-centered Care Forum and Stars of Excellence. She had several research publications as well like 'Reducing waiting time in General Pediatric Clinic", "Parents' Knowledge and Perception Toward Unintentional Home Injury in Children" and "Patient Room Whiteboard as an Effective Communication Tool".
As she continues her work to improve the healthcare system, it is the passion to render excellent and quality care to all patients is what keeps her going.
