Dr. Antonios Antoniou
MBBS, BSc, PhD, FRCOG
 
Dr. Antoniou trained at Guy’s & St Thomas’s Hospital Medical School, London University. He holds a BSc from King’s College London University and a PhD from the Hunterian Institute, Royal College of Surgeons London.
 
He did his Medical training on the North Thames Rotation London, including the Royal London, St Bartholomew’s and the University College London Hospitals. 
 
Prior to joining Sidra he was the Clinical Lead for Obstetrics and Gynecology at Newham University Hospital, Barts’ Health Trust, London, and Senior Lecturer in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Barts and the London Medical School, Queen Mary College, London University.
 
He is trained in Advanced Laparoscopic and Hysteroscopic Surgery, Urogynecology and is an experienced Obstetrician.
He is Associate Editor at Clinical Case Reports as well as being on the editorial boards of International Archives of Obstetrics and Gynecology and MOJ Women’s Health and is a regular reviewer for BJOG. With more than 23 years of experience, he is currently Medical Director for Research, & Senior Attending Physician in OBGYN, Sidra Medical and Research Center and Assistant Professor Clinical Obstetrics and Gynecology Weill Cornell Medical College.
