Dr. Sawsan Al-ObaidlyConsultant, Maternal-Fetal Medicine and Obstetrics and Gynecology
Dr. Sawsan Al-Obaidly is a consultant obstetrician and gynecologist in Women’s Hospital, HMC. She is a certified Maternal-Fetal Medicine specialist. She received her sub-speciality clinical fellowship training at Mount Sinai Hospital and Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre, University of Toronto, Canada in 2013.
She is an active member of the busy fetal clinic at the Feto-Maternal Medicine Unit in addition to her running a high risk maternal clinic. She is interested in clinical research with several abstract presentations at local and international conferences. In addition to being locally involved as a lead and a coach in several patient safety and quality improvement projects.
Dr. Al-Obaidly organizes the annual Qatar National Obstetric Ultrasound Training Course which aims to improve the detection rate of fetal anomalies in Qatar through the enhancement of knowledge and skills in obstetric ultrasound.
