Dr. Gbemisola Okunoye
Dr. Okunoye is a Senior Attending Physician in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Sidra Medical and Research Center as well as a Consultant in the same specialty at the Women’s Hospital, Hamad Medical Corporation. He completed his postgraduate training in Obstetrics, Gynecology and Maternal Medicine at the Simpson Centre for Reproductive Health in Edinburgh, UK. He is currently an Assistant Professor of clinical Obstetrics and Gynecology at Weill Cornell Medical College in Qatar.
Prior to joining Sidra, Dr. Okunoye was a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynecologist at the University Hospital of South Manchester, UK, and the Lead for Maternal Medicine and Antenatal Diabetes service. He was also an honorary Senior Lecturer at the University of Manchester Medical School and is a member of the Association of Medical Educators in Europe. Dr. Okunoye has been a clinician and lecturer with Sidra since 2014.
