Francesco Marelli, PhD, Head Knowledge Center SIRIO on Technology and Security, UNICRI 

Francesco Marelli started his career at the United Nations in 2003. As the Head of the Knowledge Center “Security through Research, Technology and Innovation" (SIRIO) in Geneva, he is responsible for analysing, identifying and testing technology solutions to monitor and combat organized crime and terrorism. He is also responsible for the coordination of UNICRI’s projects in the area of chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear (CBRN) risk mitigation. 
Qualifications: PhD awarded by the School of History, University of Leeds, UK
