George S. Abi Saad, MD, FACS
Dr. George Abi Saad is a Professor of Clinical Surgery, Head of Trauma Services and Surgical Critical Care, Chief of Trauma at Region 17, COT (Committee on Trauma) ACS. He is also the Chairman of ATLS Lebanon, Director of PHTLS Lebanon, Director of ATCN Lebanon, Director of Continuing Medical Education office, attending in the Department of Emergency Medicine of American University of Beirut Medical Center. He is also the former president of the Lebanese Society of Critical Care Medicine – LSCCM, and Middle East Representative in the Council of European Society of Intensive Care Medicine (ESICM) and Vice president of Pan Arab Society of Critical Care Medicine (IPACCMS).
He has many publications in the field of trauma, surgical critical care and general surgery. He is also a member of many hospital committees including Hospital Mortality and Morbidity, Nutrition Committee, Blood and Blood Products Committee and Critical Care Committee.
