Our team provides high levels of safe and compassionate care to patients with a wide range of illnesses and injuries, especially those patients presenting with life threatening medical needs.
Our Emergency Department uses a triage system for screening and classifying patients to determine their medical need as per the department's prioritization system. The majority of patients are treated and can be discharged home, whilst some patients require further observation or hospital admission. Our dedicated team of professionals works closely with other specialties and facilities within HMC and interface with primary health care through consultations, referrals, admissions and follow ups.
