
Dr. Alaaeldin Shablak
MBBS, MSc (Oxon), MD (Res), MRCP, MRCP (Med Onc) Consultant medical oncologist at the National Center for Cancer Care & Research (NCCCR) HMC - Doha/Qatar.
He qualified in Medicine at Tishreen University, Syria, before moving on to the UK to train as a general physician. He later trained as a Medical Oncologist at St. James’s Oncology Centre in Leeds before moving to the University Hospital of Southampton to work as a consultant medical oncologist. My subspecialty clinical interests include Colorectal, Upper GI, and HBP cancers, as well as Acute Oncology.
He has a personal interest in academic medicine, particularly Cancer Immunotherapy. He completed an MSc in Immunology and an MD (by Research) in Cancer Immunotherapy from the Universities of Oxford and Manchester, respectively.
He has authored and co-authored numerous peer-reviewed journal publications and presented them at National and International conferences. In late 2020, He relocated to the State of Qatar, where He currently works as a Consultant Medical Oncologist at the National Center for Cancer Care and Research.
