Dr. Sahar is a Clinical Pharmacist at the National Center for Cancer Care and Research (NCCCR). She holds a Bachelor of Pharmacy from Qatar University (2011) and completed her ASHP-accredited PGY-1 Pharmacy Residency at Hamad Medical Corporation in 2017.
With over 13 years of experience in oncology and palliative care, Dr. Sahar has made significant contributions to multidisciplinary care teams and participated in numerous quality improvement initiatives within hospital settings. She is also a certified educator through the Indiana Pharmacy Resident Teaching Certificate Program (IPTec). She serves as an adjunct lecturer and clinical preceptor at Qatar University's College of Pharmacy, supporting the development of future pharmacy professionals.
Dr. Sahar's research interests focus on optimizing pharmaceutical care in oncology and palliative settings. She has presented her work at numerous local, regional, and international oncology conferences and contributed to various peer-reviewed publications.
