
Dr. Israa Amr Elhakeem

Dr. Israa Elhakeem earned her Bachelor’s degree in Medicine and Surgery (MBBS) and, following graduation, completed her residency program in Internal Medicine at Hamad Medical Corporation, during which she achieved the Arab Board Certification in Internal Medicine.
She subsequently joined the National Center for Cancer Care and Research (NCCCR), where she completed her fellowship in Medical Oncology. Having graduated from the fellowship program, she is now establishing her expertise in high-risk genetics and precision medicine, with a focus on women’s health, particularly gynecologic and breast oncology.
Throughout her training, Dr. Elhakeem has been actively engaged in research, publications, and quality improvement projects aimed at advancing patient-centered care and education. She remains passionate about promoting women’s health and awareness, both in clinical practice and the wider community.
