Dr Afifa Jarraya Ep Ajina
MD,Ph.D, OHS Consultant
Dr Afifa Jarraya Ep Ajina is the Environmental Safety Manager of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) department in HMC since 2020.
She graduated from Medical Science University of Sfax in Tunisia as General Medicine Doctor in 1997 and completed her specialty and training and graduated as OHS consultant in 2000 from Medical Science University of Tunis in Tunisia.
She has been working as family medicine physician in Beni Khalled Hospital in Nabeul Governorate, Consultation and emergency department for 8 years and has been working for 8 years in the Primary Health Corporation as center Chief and Consultant in governorate of Ariana.
After that, she has been a focal point with World Health Organization (WHO) in the National Program of Tuberculosis (NPT) for 5 years and Chief of the National Center of Tuberculosis in Tunisia.
Before joining in HMC, she has been a Director of Preventive Medicine of Regional Public Health Directorate of Governorate of Ariana in the Ministry of Public Health in Tunisia for 2 years (Department of National program of Primary HealthCare, Department of Scholar and University Medicine and Environmental Health and Safety Department).
She has experience in research, capacity building, policy formulation, program implementation focusing especially on the prevention and supervised numerous PhD, MSc, Residents, and students.
