Ma. Ana Princess Villa
Nurse Educator

Ms. Princess Villa is a facility Nurse Educator at the Women’s Wellness and Research Center. She joined HMC in 2014 as a Staff Nurse in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) until 2017, when she was promoted and worked to support Nursing and Midwifery Education in the said unit.  She has been a graduate registered nurse for 13 years and acquired her Bachelor of Nursing degree from Lyceum-St. Cabrini College of Allied Medicine, Inc., Philippines, and almost completing her Master of Science in Nursing Major in Maternal and Child Nursing degree from the University of the Philippines – Open University.

Her practice and interests encompass neonatal nursing and education. Her primary role in her current designation is to provide professional education and development to NICU nursing staff as well as to other members of the healthcare team in the said unit. Additionally, she has been involved in multiple neonatal nursing practice improvements in the NICU, including but not limited to the prevention of Hospital Acquired Pressure Injury, care and management of neonates in non-invasive ventilation, and neonatal resuscitation training. Currently, she is more focused on the clinical orientation of the newly hired nursing staff in the NICU and the professional development of the NICU preceptors.
