Jenalyn A. Salvador 
Registered Nurse 

Ms. Jenalyn has been a nurse for 21 years. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree at Xavier University, Ateneo de Cagayan, Philippines. After graduating, she started her nursing career at Saudi Arabian hospitals as a staff nurse, nurse in charge in medical-surgical, orthopedic, plastic, and bariatric units, and quality nurse reviewer for 14 years. He was responsible for assisting in complying with the hospital quality management and utilization of resources programs by collecting data, reviewing patient medical records, and other matters pertinent to patient care.

She started her journey at Hamad Medical Corporation in the trauma surgery unit as a registered nurse back in 2016 and currently a quality link nurse. Basically, she took on the responsibility of being the key point of contact and assisting with the development of high-quality dashboards and reports.

By adhering to the mission and vision of the corporation to deliver high-quality, safe, and effective care, her team focused on the formulation of quality improvement initiatives by identifying areas of improvement that aimed at providing safe and effective quality care.

Trauma Center conforms to the highest international standards for trauma care and has all major subspecialties onsite, including neurosurgery, orthopedic surgery, anesthesia, emergency medicine, radiology, vascular surgery, maxillofacial surgery, and plastic surgery. However, psychological care of trauma patient has not been fully integrated to the management of trauma patient. As a trauma quality link nurse, they were able to identify the need to address the psychological aspect of care to facilitate full patient recovery.
