Prof. Denost is a pelvic and colorectal surgeon and the founder of the Bordeaux Colorectal Institute (B.C.I.), where he has been practicing since 2022.
A recognized leader in his field, Prof. Denost currently serves as President of the French GRECCAR Group and has been the Chair of the ESCP Program Committee since 2025.
His clinical and research efforts are primarily dedicated to rectal cancer and the advancement of minimally invasive surgical techniques. Prof. Denost has authored over 170 peer-reviewed international publications and has led multiple prospective randomized trials, contributing significantly to innovations in colorectal surgery.
