Clinical Care Improvement Training Program (CCITP)
Program Purpose - To build capacity and capability for quality improvement among healthcare practitioners and create a cadre of health system improvement champions (HSI champions) who can support the national improvement initiatives.
Objectives:
By the end of the program,
- The HSI champions will be able to demonstrate:
- Knowledge of core and intermediate level concepts and tools to be effective health-systems improvers in their hospital and earn a CPD credentialed certification.
- Ability to generate and test improvement ideas and the skill to implement improvement strategies and Co-designing reliable systems.
- Enhance creating a cadre of enthusiastic and knowledgeable HSI champions throughout Qatar Healthcare sectors.
- Support the launch of improvement efforts in various healthcare organizations in Qatar
Format: Hands-on Workshop/Course:
- Audience: 60 clinical MDT participants (10-15 clinical departments/facilities teams- 3-4 members each).
- Hours: 60 hours (seven and half days) over 6-9 months
- Day: weekdays
- Venue: Bayt Al-Dhiyafah
Outline: HHQI was established in 2015 with the vision to be a global leader in Quality Improvement in the Healthcare system. We at HHQI intend to provide a wide range of training and educational programs to meet the need of our customers and their expectations to deliver the safest, most effective, and compassionate care to all its patients.
The Clinical Care Improvement Training Program (CCITP) was initiated in 2010 to build capacity and capability for quality improvement (QI) at HMC. The program is reviewed and revised on regular basis to maintain an effective curriculum design to acquire knowledge and skills to meet the national mandate and the current IHI methodology is embraced locally. The program runs twice in a year and admits 60 MDT participants from HMC & PHCC. Those willing to join the course can have further information from the Quality & safety departments of their organizations. The concerned departments are responsible to enroll candidates for the program.
