The purpose is to integrate IHI Open School online courses in the HMC quality improvement education and training strategy and linking this to an existing local training programs and improvement projects.
Objectives:
- Build a capable workforce to support the Quality Improvement agenda for HMC
- To foster a culture of continuous improvement
- Quality Improvement and capability development
Format:
Activity Type: Online courses
Audience: All staff from across HMC facilities /departments (1000 People/year)
Duration: Access will be valid for one year (12 months)
Enrollment: Assigned Open School Leads in each HMC facility/department are taking the responsibility of disseminating the accesses to a selected target audience by convenience to a selection criteria.

In addition to the online courses, the IHI Open School offers a free library of activities — videos, case studies, games and exercises, patient stories, and other learning opportunities to further the knowledge on healthcare improvement.
