Purpose & Objectives:

To introduce the quality concept and methodology to the newly hired staff in HMC.

Learning objectives:

  • Discuss the 6 dimensions of quality
  • Identify the quality framework at HMC
  • Identify the role of Hamad Healthcare Quality Institute (HHQI)
  • Recognize and support the accreditation process
  • Discuss the International Patient Safety Goals
  • Describe the QI methodology used by HMC

Format:

A one-hour lecture on quality delivered in Arabic and English for the new employed staff in HMC. This presentation is part of the Corporate General Orientation Program (Hayakom) and was designed in response to JCI requirement.
