Description:

The HPO Program is designed to expand organizational improvement capacity by developing healthcare leaders and quality professionals as skilled improvement agents. The program equips them to lead and facilitate system-wide improvement efforts, strengthening safety, reliability, and overall performance toward becoming a high-performing organization.

The program is grounded in the Framework for Safe, Reliable, Effective, and Equitable Care, integrating key cultural and system-level enablers of high performance.

Under the Culture domain, it emphasizes Psychological Safety and Speaking Up, Accountability and Responsibility, Teamwork and Communication, and Alignment and Consensus.

Within the Learning System domain, it strengthens capabilities in Continuous Learning, Improvement and Measurement, Reliability, and Transparency.

The framework is reinforced by strong, visible leadership to ensure sustained progress toward safe, reliable, and high-performing organizations.

Target Audience: Mid-level managers, professionals in Quality/ Patient Safety, Risk Management and related fields, Clinicians/Nurses, and subject matter experts who work closely with executives or aspire to leadership positions.

Selection Criteria: Pre-requisite Training Certification in Fundamentals in Quality improvement covering “Model for Improvement and System of Profound Knowledge (Deming's principles)”.

Acceptable proof: FQIC (mandatory), IQIC and Open School 13 basic courses (preferred).

Course Length: The course will run for 8-9 Months
