Dr. Bala Bhasker PM
Is a Specialist Transfusion Medicine, working at the Hamad Medical Corporation, Qatar. He completed his residency in Transfusion Medicine at the PGIMER (Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research, India), and is a Certified Specialist in Stem cell Transplantation Science from BBTS (The British Blood Transfusion Society, UK) and a Certified Advanced Biotherapies Professional from AABB (Association of Advancement of Blood and Biotherapies, USA).
Dr. Bala is a member of ISBT (International Society of Blood Transfusion), AABB, AATM (Asian Associations of Transfusion Medicine), ISTM (Indian Society of Transfusion Medicine) and ASFA (American Society for Apheresis).
He is also an AABB assessor and is active in various ISBT working parties and ASFA committees. His professional interests include transfusion medicine, cellular therapy, medical education and research.
