Shondalyn Tan Daquila brings over two decades of extensive experience in laboratory operations, quality management, safety, and accreditation compliance across a diverse range of disciplines. Her proficiency spans the full spectrum of clinical laboratory practice, encompassing both fundamental and specialized areas, carried out with unwavering commitment and a strong sense of responsibility.
In her current role as Laboratory Senior Technologist I within HMC DLMP Quality, Safety, and Accreditations Compliance Management (LQM) – Corporate Services, Ms. Daquila supports laboratories across HMC in their efforts to meet and maintain national and international quality and safety standards. She also participates as an inspector during CAP interim inspections, helping to contribute to the ongoing improvement of laboratory accreditation processes.
Ms. Daquila has developed a deep understanding of a wide array of accreditation and regulatory frameworks, including but not limited to AABB, ASHI, CAP, cGMP, CLSI, FACT-JACIE, JCI, and several ISO standards (ISO 15189, ISO 9000, ISO 9001, ISO 9004, ISO/IEC 17021, ISO 19011, and ISO 31000). Her work centers on supporting the implementation, monitoring, and continuous improvement of quality management systems, helping to ensure alignment with best practices and regulatory requirements.
