Ms. Samira Saleh is the Laboratory Manager at Aisha Bint Hamad Al-Attiyah Hospital (AAH), part of Hamad Medical Corporation in Qatar. With over 33 years of experience in the medical laboratory field, she has played a leading role in enhancing laboratory services, training staff, and ensuring high-quality results that support safe and effective patient care.
At AAH, Ms. Saleh led the establishment and management of the hospital’s laboratory, developing efficient workflows and operational systems. She also introduced a customised Power BI dashboard to enable faster, data-driven decision-making and performance tracking.
Her expertise spans several laboratory disciplines, including immunology, histocompatibility, virology and core laboratory operations. She is widely recognised for her leadership, attention to detail and unwavering commitment to patient safety and service excellence.
Ms. Saleh holds an MBA from the University of Aberdeen; a Master’s degree in Medical Biotechnology from the Arabian Gulf University; and a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry and Biomedical Science from Qatar University.
