Dr. Gameil is a Hematology and bone marrow transplant consultant at the National Center for Cancer Care and Research (NCCCR) Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC). She is an assistant professor of clinical medicine at Weill Cornell Medical College in Qatar (WCMC-Q) and a clinical assistant professor in hematology at Qatar University.

Dr. Gameil is board-certified in internal medicine (CABIMS) and the (MRCP). She has completed hematology fellowship training at the NCCCR, bone marrow transplant training at King Faisal Hospital in Riyadh, KSA, and clinical fellowship training at King’s College Hospital in London, UK.  Dr. Gameil has been awarded a master’s degree in science from Ulm University -Germany, in advanced oncology and a diploma in cancer biology and therapeutics (CBT) from Harvard Medical School.

Her primary clinical and academic interests are novel diagnostic and therapeutic approaches to Leukemias, bone marrow transplants, and bleeding disorders. Dr. Gameil is a member of many local and international committees and societies, including the American Society of Hematology (ASH), the British Society of Hematology (BSH), and the Royal College of Pathology UK. She has multiple publications in the field.
